How To Measure Success

heyyyyyy how are yall doing!! this week flew. We couldnt go outside today so its been a weird pday but still a good time! we usually would go to the temple but they are all closed too. they dont tell us anything about the outside world in here so idk whats really going on with coranna virus and all that but im really greatful i got to Brazil before they stopped sending americans here. i hope all is well with you guys in the outside world and that you are all happy, healthy and safe! 

 

 

a highlight from my week was sunday. it was a wierd one since we cant do sacrament meeting in here either. we had a full day of church and devotionals in our classroom and when the branch pres came to get us for taking the sacrament it was the best because the importance of it was amplified ten fold. another highlight was a devotional we got to watch from elder uchtdorf, ps im so sorry for my spelling and puntuation the keyboard is messed up and im honestly too lazy to figure all the keys out so plzzzz forgive me haha. the devotional was all about success and how to measure it. my favorite quote from the whole thing was, Discipleship isnt about doing things perfectly, its about doing things intentionally. for reals wish i could send yall the whole talk but the summary was to control what you can control and do it well. 

 

 

a lowlight this week wasn't even a low light it was just hard. we did a 24 hour english fast as a district and i actually loved it!! it was hard but i learned so much and honestly i liked the quiet moments that come when a whole district of americans isnt allowed to speak english for a day haha. idk why i called it a low light of the week but more of just a challenge of the week but definitely a good one!!
