80's Dancin Missionaries

Hey ya'll! This week was good, we saw a lot of miricals and got a lot done. This week I tried to focus on making things a little more fun around here (not that it wasn't fun before) just spicing things up a little;) its important to work hard and have a good time doing it whenever possible. If I'm enjoying it that's how I know I'm working hard. It's all about your attitude and I'm learning that! Some fun highlights of the week were picking apples at our neighbor, brother Hansen's, orchard. He's a super cool guy and has really lived his life to the fullest, really awesome life stories and example of how to be happy in life. He had some geese and sis sparks decided she wanted a picture with one so we cornered them and grabbed one haha I'll put a picture in. Another cool thing this week is that two teens we are teaching, Karina and tiana, are on date to be baptized july 11! They came to church with us today and it was really cool especially since it was the first time for the ward back to church since it was cancelled. Keep them in your prayers please! Also Fred was a guy we were teaching but he left on a 3 month road trip around the U.S. in his van and he calls us every day to tell us what state he's drivin driving through. He's such a cool guy and I hope he contacts missionaries again when he's home to continue lessons. Also low key nervous his van will break down out there somewhere so pray for him too plz haha

 

 

A funny moment was our scriptural baking this week. We made protein balls and our video was 80's dance themed. All five of us that live in this house were in it so it was a good time. I'm still getting used to the idea of filming myself and posting it on facebook for missionary work but Its going well!  Sadly our video was rejected by the admins of the page soooooo it wont be posted but I'll add a picture for yall;)

I don't know what is more impressive, that we actually memorized the dance or that we all pulled together 80's workout outfits as missionaries haha. 

 

 

Another thing is that I've met 3 little girls named millie since being here! That's funny because my youngest sister is named millie and I miss her a ton so I tear up a little everytime I meet a little girl who reminds me of my little bff back at home. God has a sense of humor for sure Haha.
