Y'ALL ITS HOT HERE

okay so it's not that hot here...but the missionary work sure is;) I've been in good ole arizona for 1 week now and doing good! I got off the airplane and went to the mission home to meet my new companions. I'm in a trio with two sisters who are from northern Utah. Hermana Sparks and hermana Kyler are great! I'm blessed to be able to learn from two trainers. We are still in quarentiene in the Arizona, Tempe mission, so we can't procelight in the traditional way but we are still finding ways to keep the work moving forward. Lots of phone call lessons and contacting. It's awesome to see how much technology is a tool for the conversion of investigators. I was someone who was pretty negative towards technology in missionary work before, but I can tell you all that it works. I am still figuring it all out but for right now we will make the best out of the situation. I'm really hopeful that our methods of teaching will be able to expand soon as quarentiene hopefully lifts throughout the state, but we'll see!! 

My companions and the other companionship we live with all are Spanish called missionaries so we have fun speaking Portuguese and Spanish back and forth Haha. 

 

 

One of my favorite things from the week was doing service at the community garden here in Coolidge (the area I'm in). We went Thursday and Friday morning for a few hours each day. We harvested a ton of zucchini, squash and cucumbers and pulled some big ole weeds. There are great people who volunteer there that were fun to talk to and they all had unique life stories:) also a lady in the ward gave us a piano! It was heavy to move in but we got it done and are super happy to have it. Its really out of tune but just makes playing it that much more fun haha 

 

 

Good scripture to look up for this week is is ether 12:27! A friend told me it's the key to life, and I agree:)
